Gail brought her first Weimaraner, Angie (Silvasheen Angelique UD TD), in 1983 for a shooting companion for her husband Peter. It didn't take long for Gail & Ange to take up other sports as well as hunting.
They competed in Conformation for a short while, but Ange loved Obedience & Tracking more and thats where the love of the breed and the sports came alive. Gail is a life member of the Gippsland Obedience Dog Club Inc, where she has been a member for 20 + years.
I, Nikki, was not into the dog scene as a youngster. I was a horse fanatic, and was a member of the Morwell Horse & Pony Club for over 20 years. Competing in everything from Shows, Dressage, Combined Training Days, One Day Events and the Zone games teams. Every weekend I was off somewhere in Victoria competing. Of course, mum had to drive me everywhere. Gail was very involved with me and the horses, she was the District Commissioner of the Morwell Horse and Pony Club for many years.

We still own a couple of horses, but don't ride very often anymore, the dogs take up most of our time.
After Gail brought her second Weimaraner Millie (Dual Ch (T) Silvasheen Crystl Vision UD), I started to go to shows with her and it became addictive! It took me a few years to decide on the perfect breed, but once I saw the Jack Russell Terrier I was hooked!
Our first Jack Russell was bought from Ian & Jill Roissetter, Pippa, who turned out to be Dual Champion (Tracking) & Grand Champion Palanquin Persephone. She made breed history by becoming the first ever Jack Russell Terrier Tracking Champion in Australian and the only to hold the title of Dual Ch (T) and Dual & Grand Championships. She was a great introduction to the breed!
